The Pulse Fitness CrossClimb is a non-weight bearing, resistance-loaded adjustable exercise system. Regular use will produce increased aerobic capacity as well as stronger muscles and bones. Existing types of weight-loading exercise, such as weight lifting, produce stronger muscles and bones but cannot be performed in a rhythmic, continuous reciprocal fashion needed to improve aerobic fitness. Traditional weight-bearing exercises, such as jogging, improves aerobic fitness capacity, but does little to enhance muscular strength.

IFIThe IFI (Inclusive Fitness Initative) has helped to shape the thinking of the Product Design team at Pulse. This range includes high contrast visibility for adjustable parts, raised tactile surfaces and auditory support for control buttons on the consoles overlay. Even the frame colours have been carefully chosen to maximise the exerciser’s sensory input by contrasting between floor, walls and seat.

Frame Construction
All Pulse Fitness products are constructed from durable 3mm (11 gauge) steel that is designed to give exceptional structural integrity and stability even during the most vigorous workout.
Frame Protection
Once welded, the frames are treated against corrosion by being grit blasted and
zinc pre-treated (for guaranteed durability). They are furnace baked, heat-cured and electrostatically epoxy powdered (which ensures maximum adhesion). This gives them a tough, corrosive-resistant and easy to clean finish, offering unbeatable reliability and longevity.

Hand-Grip Assembly
The hand-grips are formed from a slip-resistant, extruded rubber compound that is non- absorbing and wear-and-tear resistant. They are over-sized in diameter 39mm (1-1/2"). Encompassing the hand-grips are, aluminium end-caps, these provide great durability.
